Relationships

We are meant to navigate life with other people by our side. Relationships are intended to fill us with joy and not deplete us of our resources.

It is no surprise then that problems in relationships can lead to pain and sadness, and that depression and anxiety can sometimes follow. It is important to understand the relationships you are in and also the role you play in them.

  • Are you having ongoing difficulties in an important relationship (spouse, parent, child, friend, co-worker)?
  • Do you struggle to communicate effectively with others?
  • Are you having trouble maintaining friendships or romantic relationships?
  • Do you desire healthier, more intimate relationships in your life?

Therapy can help individuals gain insight into their past relationship patterns as well as identify unhealthy forms of communication. Conflict resolution skills can be taught in order to better equip you with tools for future discord.

Therapy can also help you to create healthy boundaries as it is important to be your own advocate in a relationship. All of these goals will lead you to have deeper and more fulfilling connections with others.

"There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love."
